On July 27th 2018 I set my mind on helping to educate and inform the world about my condition. A vision of real transparency discussing how it all occurred but how to cope and battle the daily struggles that life throws at each and everyone of us. Trying to help others to get a step closer towards a diagnosis or treatment rather than years of living in the unknown.

You will often hear me relating life to a ‘deck of cards’. Each day we wake up we’re dealt one card out of the deck, Two is a low and Ace is a high. Whatever you’re dealing with at that moment, you’re alive which is a blessing. Imagine you’re stressed about getting back to work after recently breaking your arm; in your mind you may say “I feel awful, today is a Four”. That is the moment you and I must try our hardest to upgrade that day’s card to at least a Five. If we’re lucky enough to wake up feeling great, we can call it a Ten. Still we must continue to focus on some more positive things that will increase the joy of your day to make that Ten into a Jack or higher!

August 2nd 2018 I went in to Hartford Hospital to have two dime size holes in my skull to allow access into my brain. For years leading up to that I was being dealt low cards on the daily. The Deep Brain Stimulation (DBS) operation was the one thing I can say that I’ve actually ever been pessimistic about in life. I didn’t want to give any hopes up in the event I didn’t get my life closer to how it once was. At the end of the day, I’m without any regrets, on this unplanned path I’ve been on.

As of January 2024 website traffic here has come from 49 countries! A huge THANK YOU to all of those, from 22 different countries, who have reached out to me with in one form or another.

Remember to always share a smile, stay blessed and KEEP PUSHING FORWARD!

Here are a few articles, videos, and podcasts (each image a clickable link) with coverage and publications that I’m blessed to be a part of.
